Part of the Siddur collection, this scarf is based on my piece entitled Hel Likht, from the series Enlightenment. I’ve changed the name of the scarf to reflect the title of the Synagogue. The source image of this scarf is the close up detail of the moulding above the ark from the Maisel Synagogue in Prague, Czech Republic
Enlightenment brings a message of hope in difficult times. My art, created through photomontages, captures the essence of the source images found within these divine spaces. I spend hours or days obsessively creating and refining my personal "sacred geometries" to counteract the negativity coming from the chaos of the world.
The fabric of the scarf is Charmeuse silk which has such a sheen that any light reflects off of it. The scarf is available in two sizes: 26x26” and 36x36”. 15% of the proceeds from the sale of this scarf will go to support the Magen David Adom
