Wearable Art and limited edition Fine Art Photographic Prints Seraph

Seraph

from $69.00

Part of the Siddur collection, this scarf is based on my piece entitled Israel 01, October 7, 2023, from the series Out of the Darkness. The source image for this scarf is an relief sculpture of an angel on the tower of the YMCA building in Jerusalem. Nothing captures the idea of unity and peace like the words spoken during the inauguration in 1933 by Lord Allenby:

Here is a place whose atmosphere is peace, where political and religious jealousies can be forgotten and international unity be fostered and developed.

The words can be found in front of the building in English, Hebrew and Arabic.

The angel

The fabric is Charmeuse silk which has such a sheen that any light reflects off of it. The scarf is available in two sizes: 26x26” and 36x36”. 15% of the proceeds from the sale of this scarf will go to support the Magen David Adom
