Wearable Art and limited edition Fine Art Photographic Prints Tehillah 112:4

Tehillah 112:4

from $69.00

Part of the Siddur collection, this scarf is based on my piece entitled Berlin 01, November 9, 1938, Neue Synagoge from the series Out of the Darkness. As this synagogue survived the brutal destruction of Kristallnacht on November 9, I thought it only appropriate to name the scarf after Tehillah 112:4 (Psalm)

Even in darkness there shines a light for the upright.

The source image is the exterior view of the domes which reflect the eastern Moorish architecture.

Against all odds, this synagogue also survived Kristallnacht, and becomes a symbol of resilience and strength of the Jewish people. The fabric is Charmeuse silk which has such a sheen that any light reflects off of it. The scarf is available in two sizes: 26x26” and 36x36”. 15% of the proceeds from the sale of this scarf will go to support the Magen David Adom
